Europe & Eurasia Regional Family Planning Activity (2006-2009)
JSI trained Tajik health care providers' on contraceptive technology and immediate postpartum and post-abortion IUD insertion to reinforce current WHO guidelines.
Central Asia Quality Health Project (ZdravPlus Project) (2005-2009)
JSI helped pass significant family medicine legislation, and produced and distributed extensive safe motherhood guidelines in maternity clinics throughout the country.
Central Asian Program on AIDS Control and Intervention Targeting Youth and High-Risk Groups (CAPACITY) (2004-2009)
Through CAPACITY JSI developed and implemented a model for achieving high coverage of sex workers with a comprehensive package of HIV prevention interventions.
