Family Planning Training Centers
JSI manages the Family Planning Training Centers in 12 states. The program includes training for Title X clinic staff on reproductive health and HIV clinical, managerial, counseling, and health education topics.
Infertility Prevention Project
Since 1992, JSI has coordinated this project, which works in more than 400 facilities in 12 states to promote awareness, testing, and treatment of chlamydia and gonorrhea.
The Region VIII Regional Quality Indicators Project (RQIP)
Since 2001, JSI assisted Region VIII Title X family planning clinics with the collection of quality assurance data for the purpose of improving the reproductive health care offered by the clinics. The goal of RQIP is to enable the family planning clinics to monitor and ultimately improve the quality of care they provide, by implementing performance measurement and quality assurance systems.
HIV Prevention Integration Project – Region VIII (2000-2004)
JSI assisted American Indian women by implementing program to integrate HIV and other prevention services in reproductive health and community settings.
Addressing Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the American Indian/Alaska Native Populations (2006-2007)
JSI worked to increase awareness of STD risks and identify and make available resources available to address the needs of Indians/Natives related to STDs.
