JSI provided training in contraceptive technology, and encouraged medical personnel to look critically at their family planning training materials, and update them to fit current WHO guidelines.
Central Asia Quality Health Project (ZdravPlus II Project)
Through ZdravPlus, JSI expanded the use of family planning methods, and updated medical practices related to pregnancy and birth at both primary and hospital levels.
Central Asian Program on AIDS Control and Intervention Targeting Youth and High-Risk Groups (CAPACITY)
JSI built the capacity of and mobilized service providers and civil society organizations to provide HIV information targeting the most-at-risk populations, including sex workers.
